My name is Bethany Gariepy. I am a 4K teacher at Hartland North Elementary School. I graduated from Cornerstone University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and later graduated from Ashford University with a degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach preschool-sixth grade. This will be my 10th year working in the field of education.
I am passionate about helping young learners explore the world around them through hands-on learning activities, stories, science, and games. It is a privilege to be apart of the early years of their education.
Apart from teaching, I enjoy reading, baking, and nature walks. I live in Hartford with my husband, Chris. In our free time, we love to spend time with our six nieces and one nephew.
My name is Megann Schnickel and I am a 4K teacher at Hartland North. I have been at North since 2014, but I have taught 4K for nearly 8 years. I graduated from WCTC with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I earned my Bachelor Degree from Cardinal Stritch University in 2014. My degree certifies me to teach children age Birth – 3rd Grade.
I love teaching 4K, as no two days are ever the same! I enjoy helping small children to feel comfortable with their first school experience. I love to watch them discover new ideas and experiences in science, literature and numbers. The joy of learning starts early and I am honored to be their first teacher!
Outside of school I live with my husband and two sons in Menomonee Falls. My boys love baseball and when we are not on the Little League field – we are at Brewers games together! If we are not busy with sports or music lessons – we love to spend time outside camping and traveling to new places. We also have two dogs who keep us on our toes and many chickens that we care for too!
I can’t wait to meet you and welcome you to 4K and to Hartland North!
