Hartland/Lakeside Robotics Club, gives students an arena to compete in a sport-like competition of the mind. Like all other sports, students build confidence, learn life skills, develop teamwork, and learn sportsmanship, but they also learn how to program a robot, design mechanical systems, and develop a solution to a real-world problem.
All meetings of the Robotics Club will be held in Room 504 of North Shore Middle School. All of our materials including the competition table is stored here. A camp will be held from August 12 - 16 (M-F) from 9am to 3pm. During the Fall (Sept. - Nov.), the club will meet two times per week from 4pm to 6pm. The days of the week are TBD. Competitions are also TBD, but run for one full day (Sat. or Sun.) in late Nov. or early Dec.
